Willow's Story

Meet Willow

Willow is a gentle, sweet soul who is has blossomed in her foster home. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes affectionate and enjoys being close to her people. She loves attention, has a cozy routine she’s proud of, and is both house trained and crate trained.

Willow enjoys spending time outdoors in mild weather and especially loves watching the world go by from the front window — dogs on walks and squirrels are her favorite entertainment. She’s calm in the home and doesn’t bark at the door, though she can be sensitive to loud noises and will retreat to her crate when she feels unsure.

Walks are still a learning experience for Willow. She may hesitate at first, but once she’s out, she does just fine — she simply needs patience, reassurance, and a gentle approach. Willow would do best in a quiet, loving home that understands shy dogs and is willing to let her build confidence at her own pace.

She is good with other dogs and does well with children of all ages. Willow is ready for a forever family who will see past her shyness and give her the time and love she needs to truly shine.
