Introducing Willow, affectionately known as Willow Vinillo, our newest foster from Saving Paws! This delightful 2-year-old pocket shepherd steals hearts with her petite frame, weighing about 35 pounds when fully grown. From the moment she arrived, Willow has woven her way into our hearts, making it particularly difficult to say goodbye when the time comes.

Willow's zest for life is evident in her love for play, especially with other dogs. She effortlessly holds her own against larger companions, like Pickles and Dante, who outweigh her by double. While she's a bundle of energy during the day, she should be kenneled when left alone, as her shepherd instincts can lead to mischief when boredom strikes.

In the evenings, Willow finds solace in having her own kennel in our room, though she enjoys the freedom to roam between dog beds, kennel, and even our bed. She's not shy about expressing herself vocally, particularly when meeting new furry friends, but rest assured, her bark is much bigger than her size, and there's not an ounce of aggression in her.

Though she's still apprehensive around our feline companions, Willow responds well to gentle guidance and is quick to quiet down when reassured. With her endearing personality and loyal nature, Willow is sure to make a wonderful addition to any loving home. Like any dog, she'll benefit from patience, training, and time to adjust to her new surroundings.
