Willow's Story
Willow, pit bull, 14 months old, black and white, female, 55lbs

Up to date on shots, getting fixed March 19th, micro chipped

Willow is a 14 month old black and white Pitbull, she has had her full check up and is set to get fixed. Most of her past is unknown but she isn’t letting that get her down. Willow is a huge sweetheart, she loves to play with a rope toy and squeaker but if you’re ready to cuddle on the couch, so is she. She’s great in the car and will try and sit up front but if you give her a window to look out she is a stellar co-pilot. Willow is currently in a foster home and adjusting well. She still has lots of puppy energy and some learning to do but her foster mom says she is learning quick. They do daily walks where she doesn’t pull and is very curious about everything around her. If there is an open pillow on the bed though watch out, if she can get there before you, it is hers for the night! She enjoys the finer things and prefers to sleep on a pillow right next to her human.

Willow gets along well with kids, cats and any human who will pay attention to her! We have not tested her with another dog yet but there are dogs next door to her foster mom and she has never shown aggression. At the vet appointment, it seemed like she wanted to play when she saw another dog so we have very high hopes for her with another dog. If introduced properly and a good match, another dog may be a good thing to help her play out some of that puppy energy.

The ideal home for her is someone who will take the time to finish training her and can give ample play time. We always advocate for monitored interactions with kids, dogs and cats but since she is young we think a companion of some kind to play with would be a good thing for her.
