Willow's Story

Willow is ready to find her forever home! Are you the one?
Found abandoned on a remote dirt road, Willow arrived at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter in rough shape: painful dental issues and irritated skin. She was also diagnosed with a grade 5/6 of 6 heart murmur and is on Vetmedin for this condition.

Since joining CAPE’s Foster Care Program in Dec. 2024, this little warrior has had a complete dental and has recovered from her irritated skin.

Now thriving (and only slightly bossy), Willow is ready for her forever home! She is potty pad trained, sometimes misses, and need reinforcement when she's in a new home. Once she's warmed up, Willow is a cuddle bug who gives kisses, burrows in blankets, sunbathes like a queen, and keeps her foster mom laughing with her big personality in a tiny body.

Great with other dogs
No kids, please
Serious snuggle potential
Reach out at info@capeanimals.org to apply!
Willow is currently being fostered in Nevada City, CA.
