Willow's Story

Meet Willow!
Breed: your guess is as good as ours, border collie/pit bull mix?
Age: approx 8.5 years, however she doesn't act her age!
Size: est 45lbs.
Training: leash trained, doing well with house training on our schedule. She doesn't really care for a crate but we use one and recommend it until she has adjusted.
Good with dogs? Yes, in fact we think she'd do best with a canine companion!
Good with cats? Yes, she does great with cats.
Good with adults/kids? Willow loves EVERYONE! :)

Willow wants to be with her person. She LOVES car rides. She has never met a stranger and does great with kids, cats, and dogs! Willow has quite the story - She was found on a road in Gaffney, trying to jump in passerbys' cars. We posted found signs & it turns out her owners dumped her because their landlord evicted them for having dogs. Someone messaged us and let us know her name and approx age. She came in with heartworms (she is now negative), had just weaned pups. She is very sweet and her tail never stops wagging. Good with other dogs, cats & kids. She lived with 2 dogs before and it is believed they were dumped as well, but nobody ever found them. Willow has been adopted & returned...twice :(. The first time, her adopter had a change in her work schedule and felt it was in Willow's best interest to return her. The second time, Willow went to a home without other dogs and we feel she needs a canine companion. A fenced yard where she can spend time outdoors is also ideal.

She would love to find her forever family!

Willow is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations.

Willow is priceless! There is no adoption fee however it must be a perfect match for both Willow and your family ??.
