WILLOW's Story
Willow is, quite simply put, a little angel on four legs. We think at one time she had a wonderful, loving home. Maybe her owner passed away and she was given to someone else who did not take care of this special little soul. She is a senior spaniel mix (about 12 pounds) who is about 8 to 10 years old. When we took her out of animal control (who could possibly turn away from this angelic face) her teeth were in terrible shape, she was thin, and her coat all matted to her little body. When our vet did her dental he had to remove nearly all her teeth so she is now on a soft food diet for the rest of her life (many of us seniors can relate to that) but the vet also found that this poor little girl had a broken jaw. No wonder she had trouble eating and was so thin!! Her jaw was repaired and she has had a visit from the groomer. She was in a lot of pain the first several days after all this was done. Even in all that pain she did not have one accident in the house. What a sweet little lady she is!! Willow deserves so much better than what her past few years had been. She is spayed, up to date on vaccination, heartworm negative, microchipped, and housebroken. If you are interested in this wonderful little girl please fill out an adoption application at www.roomforonemore.net and for additional information please call Karron at 352-560-0051. The adoption donation for Willow is $75.00
