WILLIS Cattle Dog Phoenix, AZ

Willis is a three-year-old, 36-pound Cattle Dog mix with a distinctive stumpy
tail that serves as his happiness meter. The faster it wiggles, the happier he
is to be with you – and it wiggles a lot! Willis thrives on human interaction
and eagerly anticipates visitors. He enjoys being lightly petted on his head
rather than full body strokes and prefers slower, gentle movements.

Although Willis shows interest in toys, he doesn’t play with them much and
can be startled when a toy or ball is thrown. With some practice and
patience, he is likely to learn the joys of playtime. Willis takes treats politely
and is currently working on sitting for them. Being a typical smart Cattle
Dog, he is quick to learn and will soon master his good dog skills.

As a Guardian Angel dog, Willis has an adoption fee of $300. Guardian
Angel dogs are highly desirable and command an increased adoption fee
to help defray the costs of caring for rescues with special needs, whether
medical or behavioral, or for those who have been with us for an extended
period. In this way, our Guardian Angels directly support our other rescues.

Willis's adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate
vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain
Animal Hospital. Adoption hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11:00
