Willie's Story

Willie is a sweet and feisty 13 year-old Maltese mix who loves his person, food, dog sister, and all cool tile floors. This charming little guy was saved from the Euthanasia list at Pasadena Animal Shelter with his sister, Callie. Their older owners turned them in when they could no longer take care of him. He needed a dental (over 9 teeth removed) and some skin warts to be removed. He has no problems eating dry food but is always up for some soft treats. While Willie takes awhile to get used to his environment, he shows his personality and wags his white fluffy tail in greeting to his visitors. Willie flourishes in the presence of his humans, all children and his fellow dog pack mates. He loves a good ear scratching and is thriving on shared moments of affection and serenity. While he is touchy on how he gets picked up due to his sensitive skin, he dreams of a forever home-just waiting for someone to help him become the best little buddy he was always meant to be.

Willie is mostly blind now.

Willie is neutered, fully vaccinated and up to date on all preventions.
