William's Story

"William is a petite, spunky, 35 lbs, mixed breed boy that’s around 3 years old. He was an unclaimed stray and found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time at a high kill shelter. William scored a ticket to Colorado on Valentine’s Day has recently made his arrival. He is an easy going guy for his foster family to have around while he waits for his forever family. William is smart, friendly, and social. He loves people and treats, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys a good car ride! He also keeps a clean crate and sleeps through the night. William likes playing with other dogs, though he does like to sass them and tell them what to do 🤣. He’s pretty unapologetically opinionated and not shy about expressing what he wants.
William did test positive for heartworm and is being treated. He has no idea he has those extra pesky passengers through and thankfully feels great and healthy; ready to put his old life behind him. His ideal family will give him furniture privileges and snuggles and let him be included in as much of their lives as possible as the cutest friend, co-pilot, and shadow ever. Where there’s Will, he will 100% find a way!"

William is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/william/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
