She also enjoys playing fetch until she’s happily tired. With the nicer weather, she’s beginning to enjoy spending short periods outside on her own—previously, outdoor time was only for potty breaks or fetch, and even then she preferred staying by the door watching her person. She arrived with some training already under her belt, and we’ve been expanding on it; she knows sit, down (sort of), wait, leave it, take it, and shake. Her flyer said she knows “quiet,” and while she definitely understands it, she isn’t always convinced when another animal is on TV—sometimes she pauses barking just long enough to bark again at a slightly lower volume. Willette is very smart and VERY attached to her people.
