Willa

Willa is a super loving 7-month-old puppy. Thought to be a pitbull-y, labby, husky mix, Willa has LOTS of puppy energy. She can be jumpy at first, but settles down and walks well on leash. She likes to play, but is also a superstar in the snuggling department. Nothing makes her happier than climbing into her person's lap for some love. Willa has lived with children, but her exuberance and mouthy puppy behaviors would make her best suited for an active family with older children, or an adult-only home. <br/><br/>Willa is very food motivated, and will be a delight to train. She is phenomenal with other dogs, meeting them at their energy level. We don't know how she'd be with cats, but given her playfulness she might be too much for any cat who is not super outgoing and dog-savvy. She has the potential to be a top-notch bestie for some lucky family! Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
