Willa is an 8-year-old Shepherd mix, weighing 51 lbs., with a heart as big as her cuddle game. She came to the SPCA of East Texas in 2023 from an overcrowding, cruelty, and neglect situation. Willa was one of the very first dogs who showed us what healing looks like—she was also one of the first to give in to our love.<br/><br/>We’ll never forget watching her relax on a comfy bed for the first time, finally able to rest, knowing everything was going to be okay.<br/><br/>Now, after 2 long years, Willa is still patiently waiting for her forever family to walk through our doors.<br/><br/>Willa is gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people and other dogs.
