Wiley's Story
If you want a fun, drivey dog who will play ball ‘til the sun sets, crack you up with his silly antics, and radiate all your love back to you amplified tenfold, you will fall head over heels for Wiley. This fellow will be fairly large; 9 months old and still lean, he weighs 66 pounds and is 26 inches high at the shoulder.
Wiley exudes confidence. So far, nothing has fazed him. Loud noises don’t ruffle his cool, he’s comfortable at skate parks and in stores, and he likes to meet new people. At home, he is a busy boy and will play with any toy nonstop. He has good eye contact and will bark, play bow, wag his tail, and smile to show you he’s having fun.
For all his drive and self-assurance, Wiley is easygoing. His eyes are soft and warm. His tiny bark will make you laugh; his counter-surfing may not. He’s working on house manners and “down,” but already knows sit and wait. He’s crate-trained, nice on a leash, good in the car, and well-behaved at the vet’s.
Wiley is good with other dogs, but since he’s big and he wants to play, some may see him as a bit overbearing or object to his head-butting, nipping, or teeth-clacking. He likes people and should be good with older kids, but since he’s big and exuberant he would not be best for little ones. He has not been exposed to cats.
Wiley’s foster says he is “smart as a whip & the coolest, craziest dog ever!”

West Coast adoptions only, HOWEVER, if application is strong we may consider placement in other Western US states.
Contact us through www.woofproject.org
Must have previous or current, purebred Malinois experience OR other high drive working breed experience. Have no children under the age of 12 years old OR have extensive experience with children and high drive dogs.
Our adoption process includes- completion of an application, followed by a telephone interview. If that goes well, we will arrange for a home visit.
Adoption Fee: $375.00. Transport along Interstate 5 is available but cost not included in adoption fee.
