This charming fellow is 8 years old and weighs a solid 75 pounds, with a personality that’s as big as he is. Wilbert gets along well with other dogs and is a friendly pup. He’s a smart cookie who knows the sit command and comes when called. He’s also crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. Despite his size, Wilbert has a surprising amount of energy and an almost comical obsession with tennis balls! He’ll chase them down tirelessly and might just try to carry around as many as he can at once, all while showing off his big grin. Wilbert does best in an adult-only home where his family understands that he gets spooked if people get too close to his face, so he needs an owner who respects this boundary. Eleventh Hour Rescue's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our AMAZING animals! Our application process needs to be completed prior to any pet leaving our care, and it would be started by visiting our website. Processing time may take up to 7 days and approved applications are good for 6 months. There is no fee to apply, but all applicants must be at least 23 years of age and we ask for three personal references, a veterinary check for current/past animals, and confirmation of home ownership or contact info for landlords/management companies. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. When your application has been processed, you will receive an email from our applications team. This email will indicate whether or not you have been approved to adopt, and provide information on your next steps. Receiving the approval email does not guarantee that the animal you applied for is still available or a good fit for your home. We do not 'hold' or 'reserve' animals during the application process.
