Meet Wiggly! He just arrived from our rescue partners in TX. We will post more as we learn about him!<br/><br/>Basics: He is estimated to be 5 months old and weighs 12 lbs. We have his neuter scheduled at a vet in Cedar Lake, IN. He will get her microchip at that time. Adopter must be willing to travel back to Cedar Lake for the surgery.<br/><br/>Adoption Process:<br/><br/>- please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application<br/><br/>- one of our team members will reach out via phone <br/><br/>- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received. We do not have a facility. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding<br/><br/>- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.<br/><br/>-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.<br/><br/>NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. <br/><br/>About Us:<br/>Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need. <br/>We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports.
