🐾 Meet Widget 🐾<br/><br/>Widget is a 10 pound, 12-year-old Chihuahua mix who never expected to be looking for a new home in his golden years. After a lifetime of being loved and cared for, he lost his home simply because his owner could no longer provide for him.<br/><br/>This sweet little gentleman is calm, gentle, and full of quiet love. Widget adores being petted and is happiest curled up in a lap, soaking in affection. He gets along well with other dogs (cats unknown). <br/><br/>Widget has battled allergies, but after removing chicken and beef from his diet, his skin has healed beautifully and he’s feeling so much better. He also has occasional seizures, which are managed with medication. Through it all, Widget remains trusting, loving, and eager for companionship.<br/><br/>Despite being a senior, Widget is still active and gets around well. What he wants most is a peaceful, loving home where he can feel safe again and spend his days knowing he belongs. Senior dogs like Widget have so much love left to give—he just needs someone to give him a chance.<br/><br/>Widget is current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered.
