Wi$h Li$t's Story
Meet Wish List! This little guy has not had an easy start to life. He was found with his mom, a blue heeler, by the train tracks in New Mexico. When he was taken into the local shelter, they discovered he had wounds on one of his hind legs. We brought him up to Colorado at that time and did x-rays, and found he had an old break in his back leg. Since it had been some time since it had happened, the break was already beginning to heal and doctors thought it would be best not to re-break it and put him through surgery, since he was using it well. Today, Wish List appears to be pain-free and uses the leg without issue, although doctors think it may cause some arthritis when he gets much older.

Wish List is very interested in attention from humans, and sometimes bullies the other puppies to get attention first. For this reason, we think he might do best in a home where he is the only dog, so that he can get spoiled and cuddled all on his own. He loves food and will be easy to train because of this. He is working on kennel and potty training. He is fine with cats and loves children. He is about 4 months old and just 8lbs so we do not expect him to get very large.

Wish List is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
