Whitney's Story

Whitney is a 2 yr old, 12.5 lb., female Chihuahua/Terrier Mix, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm positive (adults only), fecal negative, and microchipped. She's playful good with other small dogs but no big dogs or cats. She is skittish with new people but will warm up given a little time, patience and love. She was on the street over a year and was finally captured with a single puppy, Oakley, also available for adoption. Whitney would probably be best in an adult only home at this time, not because she is aggressive but because she is skittish and would be a flight risk with kids. Good vet history, a securely fenced yard, and a live or virtual home visit required for approval. Apply online to be considered: https://secondchancedogrescuela.org/adopt-a-dog-2/adoption-application/<br/>Call 225-931-9157 with questions. Thank you for sharing this pet!
