Whitney's Story

Introducing Whitney!

Whitney, at no fault of her own, was surrendered to Rosebud a few weeks ago. If youre looking for 100% puppy energy, this is your girl!

Whitney was born 3-10-22, her siblings have been DNA tested as lab mixes. She was originally born into rescue and adopted out but she finds herself back in rescue as an adult.

This gorgeous girl loves playing with dogs of all sizes, she does okay with cats but does have some interest in trying to play with them (no harm intended) She is just all around a wonderful girl.

Whitney does okay on leash walks but gets very excited to be with her humans! Her forever family should continue to work on her manners so she can be the best possible girl. Whitney is also potty trained and does well in her crate.

Unfortunately when she came into rescue, her foster noticed something was weird with her breathing. Whitney was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. She is fine for now with just some wheezing but in the future (senior age is expected) she may need surgery to correct it. Otherwise all that is reccomended is to use a harness when shes on a leash.

If you’re interested in adopting Whitney please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt
Long distance adoptions considered at the adopters expense within the US only.

*Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications.
