Hi there, they call me Whiskey and I'm a 60 pound 5 year old babe with ears for days! As you can see, my ears stand straight up when I'm alert. They will lay flat if I'm nervous or relaxed, which gives me many different "looks" so you'll never tire of my cute face! I can be a little skittish around new people and new places so, please be patient and gentle when we first meet. Once I get to know you, I love to play. Petting is kind of weird for me; I like it sometimes, but sometimes I'd rather not be touched. I hope that's ok with you. I got adopted a while back, but my person had to move to a smaller space and there wouldn't be room for me. Kind of a bummer, I know. With my person, I got to go on walks every day, lounge on the couch or bed, and play with my favourite squeaker duck! There was a cat there too, and I did ok, but if you have a cat at your place, our staff will suggest a good way to be sure we can co-exist peacefully. I can be strong on the leash, so if you're looking for an upper body workout, I'm your gal! I'm kind of distractible but I'm also smart so, with some patience and consistency, I think I can learn with you!
