Hi, I’m Whiskey! I’m a handsome 5-month-old male German Shepherd with a confident but easy going personality. I’m an engaged and willing learner who picks up new skills quickly and enjoys working with my person.<br/><br/>I am currently working on a four-week training program at Sunnyside School for Dogs, where I’m developing solid foundational obedience, leash manners, engagement, and better decision-making skills. I’m also crate trained and ready to continue practicing everything I’ve learned in my new home.<br/><br/>I have a sturdy, large frame and some very impressive paws, so I’m expected to be a big boy when I’m fully grown! My floppy ears sometimes try to stand up, but whether they stay floppy or eventually become erect, they add plenty of character to my handsome face.<br/><br/>With my strong training foundation, I can be a wonderful turn-key puppy for the right adopter. I’m still young, so my new family will need to maintain structure, consistency, and clear expectations to help me retain my skills. It doesn’t require a huge time commitment—just one or two 5- to 10-minute training sessions each day.
