Whiskey's Story
Whiskey here … and much to my disappointment, I’ve landed at Animatch because my human wasn’t allowed to keep a big dog in the apartment. Bummer, right? A guy like me needs room to stretch these legs!

I’m told I’m a mix of Australian Shepherd and Golden — which basically means I come fully loaded with brains, energy, and a zest for life. A sedentary lifestyle? Not in my vocabulary. I’m happiest when I’m walking, running, chasing a ball, catching a frisbee, or heading off on whatever adventure you have in mind. And once we polish up my manners, I’d be thrilled to try my paw at some dog sports. I’m ready to earn medals… or at least enthusiastic applause.

Now, let’s be honest — I am not condo material. I do enjoy the sound of my own voice, and I suspect your neighbors would not. A home with a large fenced yard would be my dream come true. Also, I tend to greet people with a little too much enthusiasm (sometimes you look like a springboard… I can’t help it!). Because of that, I’d do best with older children who won’t topple over during my welcome parade. Training will help with that — I’m smart and eager, so I just need someone willing to show me the ropes.

I get along well with the dogs in my playgroup, though I can be a bit reactive on leash when meeting new dogs. No need to blush on my behalf — we’ll work through it together. After all, becoming a well-mannered gentleman doesn’t happen overnight, and it’s a mighty good thing we’ll have years ahead of us to practice.

If you have a few quirks of your own, don’t worry — I’m very accepting. All I ask is a long-term commitment to training, exercise, and heaps of love. In return, I promise endless loyalty, daily entertainment, and a lifetime of companionship.

Fill in that Application Form and ask for Whiskey — I’m ready to raise a glass (or at least a paw) to our future together!

BREED
Australian Shepherd x Golden
GENDER
Male
AGE
1 year
SIZE
Large (Medium 28 lbs)
CHILDREN
8+
DOG FRIENDLY
Yes
CAT FRIENDLY
TBD
ENERGY LEVEL
High
GROOMING LEVEL
Low

TO APPLY FOR ADOPTION OF THIS DOG, PLEASE VISIT OUR WEB SITE: www.animatch.ca AND FILL THE APPLICATION ON LINE.
*** calls and e-mails will not be answered ***
