Whiskey's Story
Come on over to AARF and meet Whiskey - or "Millie," the name she knows best from her foster family! With a big, happy tail wag and an energy-filled personality, Millie is truly as sweet as sugar and loves just about everyone she meets.

Millie does well with kids ages 8 and up, as her size and enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for younger ones. She's friendly with other dogs and would love a canine sibling to run and play with. She's also currently working on polite relationships with cats and chickens and continues to make progress.

She's mostly housebroken, with only the occasional excitement accident, and is doing great with training. Millie already knows sit, down, shake, touch, and (sometimes) drop it, and she's working on stay - though following her people everywhere is kind of her favorite thing! She's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and picks things up quickly.

At night, Millie sleeps peacefully on her bed. While she's not a big fan of the crate, she's perfectly happy having her own cozy space. She absolutely loves to run, play, and be outdoors, so a fenced yard or farm setting would be ideal for her active lifestyle.

Millie can be a little mouthy, but she doesn't have a mean bone in her body - she just likes to carry something around at all times. Toys are a must! Tennis balls and crinkly toys are her favorites (squeaky toys are a little too spooky for her taste).

Whiskey (aka Millie) is a joyful, affectionate, and energetic girl who would make a wonderful addition to so many homes. Although she is friendly, she is a little shy and it takes her some time to warm up. Once she knows you're safe, she will be your new best friend.
