My name is West and I am a gorgeous boy who loves to have lots of new adventures! I love being outside and exploring everything! Have a dog that needs a new friend? I would be a great new besite! Have a cat? I am pretty curious about them and could be a friend if they are looking for one! What would my ideal home be like? It would have a fenced yard to romp in, a walking partner to explore with, lots of love, lots of playtime, and time to keep working with me on all my homelife skills. In return, I promise to provide non-stop companionship, a happy wagging tail when you come home, and plenty of LOVE! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre-adoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can! Sweet kisses and cuddles-West(ie) PS-I heard a rumor that the humans sometimes break treats in half, but I am a full treat kinda guy! **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525, which includes getting the puppy up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
