My name is West, and my foster Mom thinks that I am just the sweetest boy ever! I am also a very happy, playful, and affectionate little guy...cuddling is my favorite! I love playing with my foster sibling, but I definitely stay close to the people and pups in my life! My foster Mom has her own puppies, kitties and a young son that all play with me...I'm really curious about the kitties, but I'm very nice to them. I love food, treats and toys! I am crate trained and am working on potty training. Like all puppies, I am looking for a home with lots of love, patience while I work on being even more great, and time to help me learn all my important life skills. If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre-adoption application, and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quickly as they can! Sweet cuddles and kisses - West **The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525, which includes getting the puppy up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog. Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for. Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog. We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
