Wesson

Wesson is a young puppy who is looking for a family who can give him the attention to teach him to be the dog they want. He had a rough go of it at the start of life, born a stray, was in a shelter that had a breakout cross contamination of Parvo and was scheduled to be euthanized.<br/><br/>Instead our rescue partner in SE Missouri had him transferred to our vet and he underwent treatment for Parvo. Far too many puppies and young dogs lost their life to the outbreak which was mismanaged. Wesson is one of the lucky ones and is grabbing life by the horns.<br/><br/>He gets so excited when he sees a dog with an opportunity to play. He lulls his foster children with his charms to allow him to cuddle with them. <br/><br/>He is working on house training, and basic commands. Having been locked away since 8 weeks of age in one or another type of kennel, he lost out on time he should have been learning commands, boundaries and how to dog with a family.<br/><br/>Surprisingly Wesson sleeps through the night without messing his crate and wakes the house up at 5:30am for first potty break of the day.<br/><br/>He is truly a fine looking dog with so much potential to offer the right family.
