Wesson's Story

Wesson came to us from another rescue that was overwhelmed with beagles who had been used for hunting. He is a sweet senior guy, but is a typical beagle who will follow his nose. He hasn't been super noisy during his time with us. He'd likely be fine with another dog. <br/>He came to us with a pretty yucky mouth, so he received a dental in our care and is now feeling much better.

Scituate Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process Please note our adoption application process is not on a first come, first serve basis. When you first arrive at our shelter, you will be asked to fill out a brief survey, which helps us to find the right pet for you. Our adoption counselors act as “matchmakers” and will work with you to find the right match - for both you and the animal - based on the information you have given us. If you don't find a match right away, we will hold your survey on file for several months while you continue your search.
