Meet Wemby!<br/><br/>Wemby came to us after a short day at the county shelter. He had come in severely neglected, emaciated and weighing only 4.8 pounds. He had skin infections, profound hair loss and very long toenails (see pics). The worst part was he was not even quite one year-old :-(<br/><br/>With lots of medicated baths, nutritious food, and love, he has cleared the skin infections and grown his hair back in. He is now a happy, playful little guy weighing a bit over 6 pounds. <br/><br/>Wemby loves to play with other dogs and cats and is basically fearless. His only issue is food guarding, which given his history of starvation is understandable and very manageable by adults. We don't think he's a good choice for a home with children but he really needs the playful small doggie companion (or two) :-)<br/><br/>.**Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon.
