She came to Colorado from Portales, New Mexico, after a very rough start to life, and everything in this new world is brand-new to her. She's incredibly sweet, gentle, and curious... but also extremely shut down as she figures out what it means to feel safe.<br/><br/>Wednesday likely never had a collar, harness, or leash before arriving here, and you can see that in how carefully she approaches the outdoors. Right now, she's working hard on feeling comfortable going outside, and she has a spacious indoor playpen with potty pads while she builds her confidence. She will need a patient adopter with a calm, quiet home—and ideally a securely fenced yard—so she can explore at her own pace without pressure.<br/><br/>She's not ready for adventures yet, but she is ready for someone who sees her potential.
