Wednesday's Story

Meet Wednesday... just in time for spooky season.

She may be named after Wednesday Addams, but unfortunately she's terrible at the whole dark, mysterious, hates-everyone thing. This Wednesday is much more interested in making friends, giving kisses, playing with dogs, and collecting as much attention as humanly possible.

Wednesday is around 1 year old and 45 pounds of pure sweetness. She came into the shelter as a stray at the beginning of August and somehow spent nearly TWO MONTHS waiting for someone to notice her.

She quickly became a shelter staff favorite, and they continued advocating to get her out because they knew just how special she was. Thankfully, an incredible foster finally said YES, and Wednesday packed her bags (probably black ones ) and made her way to Charleston!

And it took us about five minutes to understand why everyone loved her so much.

Loves other dogs
Loves every person she meets
Super social and outgoing
Around 45 pounds and surprisingly petite
Professional friend-maker
Absolutely terrible at being spooky or intimidating

She made SO many new friends on her very first day here and has proven herself to be the sweetest little lady.
