Wayne's Story

Garth and Wayne are the last two pups from an unwanted, accidental litter, and they are more than ready to find their forever homes. These 4-month-old Lab mixes are everything you'd hope for in growing puppies-bubbly, happy, confident, and eager to take on the world. They're playful, social, and full of curiosity, with sweet personalities that make them easy to love.

Like all puppies, Garth and Wayne are true blank slates. They are at the perfect age to begin learning what it means to be a well-mannered family companion. Puppy raising is a rewarding journey, but it does require time, patience, consistency, and commitment. They will need to be house trained, crate trained, and taught basic home manners, such as appropriate chewing, polite greetings, and how to settle calmly inside the home. Positive reinforcement, routine, and clear boundaries will help them build confidence and understand expectations.

Raising a puppy also means providing proper socialization-introducing them to new people, animals, sounds, environments, and experiences in a safe and positive way. This helps them grow into well-adjusted, confident adult dogs. Daily mental and physical enrichment, including walks, playtime, training sessions, and interactive toys, will be essential to help them burn energy and develop healthy habits. Puppies thrive on structure, so establishing a consistent daily routine for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, training, and rest will set them up for success.

Garth and Wayne are smart, happy boys who are excited to learn and eager to bond with their people. With guidance, patience, and love, they will grow into wonderful lifelong companions. If you're ready for the joys and challenges of raising a puppy and want a loyal best friend by your side, Garth or Wayne may be the perfect addition to your family.
