Waverly's Story
Waverly

Waverly is a female Malinois/Heeler mix
DOB: June 11th, 2025

Adoption fee: $150

I was told this is my heritage, maternally, Belgium Malinois and paternally, 50 % Red Heeler/25% Standard Poodle/25% Australian Shepherd mix. I think I am just a very nice young lady, who can be shy to new people, places, and things. Due to my current behavior, I will require a physical fenced yard. I am not fit for apartment life. I would do my best with a family experienced with my breeds characteristics.

I am hitting my adolescent stage and would really benefit from a change of scenery. A home with a family, older children, less commotion, another dog looking to mentor a young impressionable pup that is eager to follow their lead, would be absolutely perfect for me. I could tolerate a dog-friendly cat, with a slow proper introduction. I am doing better with my leash training. I am not super confident and will walk more behind you than in front or to your side. I am an observer and take my time to work up to affection. I find confidence in having another social dog by my side.

I will be medium or on the smaller end of large when fully grown. I have a thick coat and enjoy playing outside. With confidence and training, I will enjoy going for daily walks and playing in the yard.
