Watson's Story

Hi, everyone!  I’m Watson.  I’ve got to tell the world just how special I really am.  I was hand picked from the county shelter by the AARF president herself.  It doesn’t get much better than that folks!!! She saw my potential.  She rolled the dice.  She knew she had a winner.  I’m ecstatic that she was able to look beyond the surface, cherry eyes and all, and see that I deserved a chance at love too.  Now, I’m living the life in a fabulous foster home.  Before you know it, I’ll be at home with you.  But, I’ve got to convince you first! Let’s run through the highlights real quick.  I’m a handsome boy.  I’m believed to be about 2 years old.  I weigh in at around 22 pounds.  That makes me on the smaller end of the size spectrum.  Like 90% of the world’s dogs, I’m a mixture of a little this and a little that.  I’d put my money on the Terrier/Chihuahua combo though.  I don’t want to bore you too much with my stats.  So, let’s try something a little different: ·        Health Issues- Nope, AARF got my cherry eyes squared away.  Other than that, I was and am as fit as a fiddle. ·        Housebroken- Confirmative.  I’ll let you know when I have to do the do. ·        Crate Phobia- Negative.  My crate is my castle.  I hang out there when no one is around to keep an eye on me. ·        Leash Skills- I’m a bronze medal contender.  But, with your help and a class or two, I’ll be a gold medalist in no time.    ·        Little Humans- They are cute.  I really like them, preferably ones 9 and up.  ·        Kitty Cats- They are interesting little creatures.  But, I know that I’m not to stare too long. ·         Fellow Dogs- I can be a little selective when it comes to my fellow canines.  You can try to ease me into this arena, but I would prefer to be the only dog, so that I'm the only one showering you with attention! You’ve got more than enough practical information to make an informed decision.  But, let me give you information that will make you warm and fuzzy all over.  I’m a fairly quiet easy go lucky gent.  I can get lost in playing with my toys, especially my favorite nylabone, for hours on end.  Toys are great, but they are no substitute for your attention and affection.  Don’t worry.  I’ll be sure to reciprocate!     Visit www.animalalliesrescue.org today.  Otherwise, you’ll blink, and I’ll be off the market.  By the way, my adoption fee is $250, which covers my routine vetting, neutering, vaccinations, microchip, and even 30 days of FREE pet insurance!
