Wanda's Story

Wanda is a 4 month old Shepherd mix from Mexico who has had one of the hardest starts to life we can imagine. She was found on a dirt lot covered in trash with one of her deceased siblings around her and 3 other survivors. Her and her siblings came to us and immediately showed signs of distemper. After a brave fight, we're sooo happy to say she fought so hard, has no lasting effects and is ready for her forever home. Wanda is sweet, quiet, gentle, seems to be potty trained, good with dogs, good with cats, good with kids... she is really the best. She will need some work on leash and a family that can work on her continued socialization as the world is still a big and scary place for her. She is really a gem of a dog. If you are interested in meeting Wanda please fill out an application on our website.
