Hi, my name is Walter. I was born on 9/26/23, I have been in the rescue since January of 2024. I like to be the center of attention and get all the pets, treats and toys so I would be good as an only dog in your home, and I am not a big fan of cats either. I am currently boarded at Heidi's Village. While I do love it there, and the staff take great care of me, I would love to be in a home of my own, preferably a forever home but a foster home would be great as well. The staff at Heidi's have been taking me out to the splash pad (my favorite place!) and with no toys present and supervision I have been playing well with others. Im a real Ladies man looking for my perfect match. I am a lovable & active Pittie Mix who loves soft squeaky toys (but need to be supervised with them), wrestling, running, swimming (with a lifejacket). I am a big man at 75 pounds fully grown, but I think I am a little baby!I love the children in my life who are so much fun to be around and give me the best belly rubs. As a young dog, Im still working on my manners, but so far I am potty trained, I use the doggy door, I can sit, stay, shake, I walk well on a leash & Im kennel trained.
