Meet Walter! Walter is 4 month old Beagle Mix. Him and his 5 siblings were recently rescued from a high kill shelter. They are all currently residing in loving foster homes. Below are some words from his wonderful foster family!

"Walter (aka Reese's) is the most loving boy. He loves to cuddle and enjoys sleeping on a warm blanket. He loves to eat so any time you have food he's right by your side. He plays with his toys and plays great with other dogs. Both love napping in the sun spots that beam into the house!"

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
