Walter's Story

Walter is one of our alums who sadly needs a new home. He is not getting along with some of the other dogs in his current family and despite all interventions to make it work it’s become clear that he needs a different home, ideally one where he would be the only pet. He generally does well with submissive dogs but in order to prevent any possibility of issues in the future we’d like Walter to be the one and only furkid in his new family. His mom wrote the bio on him below. Please share this post and help Walter find his forever home.

Walter is an almost one-year-old super-mutt. He is a 45-pound scruffy low-rider who is the best of all 17 of his DNA-tested breeds. He is sweet, goofy and playful. He loves his people and is an all around good boy. He enjoys warm baths, treats and playing fetch with his toys. He tolerates manis and pedis, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning as he likes to prance about and look his best. Walter likes to give kisses and is known for his drive-by lickings. When he’s done playing, he can usually be found settling in next to his people on the couch or at their feet to enjoy a nice nap. He is fully housebroken, crate-trained, and knows commands such as sit, down, and drop it. Walter is cautious of strangers but once he knows you, you have a friend for life. If you are looking for a silly and sweet super mutt with lots of love to give, look no further than Walter.

Walter is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and current on vaccinations and deworming. The adoption fee is $300. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt at https://sohfga.com/dog-adoption-application/.
