Walnut (Wally)'s Story

Hi! My name is Walnut (Wally for short) and I am a herding mix puppy (maybe border collie x kelpie mix). I am the biggest of the "nut bunch" puppies and I like to push my weight around when playing with my siblings. I'm really smart and I love to learn.. I am always the first to try new things, explore new places and show off my puppy tricks. I love to play with the other dogs in my foster home, but I also have an independent streak. So, I would be just fine as an only pup in the home. Because of my breed, I would not be a good fit for a family with small/young children. Older (> 8 yr old), dog savvy kids would be ok. I am crate-trained and house-broken (and know how to use a doggy door). I am neutered and up-to-date on my vaccinations aIf you are interested in meeting me, please contact kathie@herdinghaven.org
