Meet Walnut - a big ball of floof who will steal your heart! He is an approximately 10 year-old Shepherd mix. He may have applications in progress, but is currently available. <br/><br/>Walnut came to Stop the Suffering after tragically losing his home to a fire. He is sweet, gentle, and mostly calm, but can be a little anxious at times - which may recede in time after he again feels settled and safe. He is house trained, and good with other dogs. He has been very tolerant of his puppy foster brother. Walnut doesn&#39;t need much activity, but definitely needs a yard, preferably a fenced one. He loves to be outside. He is simply the nicest dog, and deserves a loving home for his golden years.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
