Wally VI is a sweet and gentle teenage male pup who is finally living his best life indoors! He was found living in the woods behind the Oak Cliff Walmart, Wally was understandably shy and skittish around humans at first. But with lots of patience, love, and training, heâÂ€ÂTMs come so far âÂ€Â” slowly learning to trust and embracing life indoors. Wally is truly every-creature-friendly âÂ€Â” dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, you name it! He loves playing with toys and tug-of-war (his absolute favorite), chasing sticks, and exploring the world around him. When heâÂ€ÂTMs not busy being goofy and playful, heâÂ€ÂTMs happily snoozing or cuddling up with his people. He thrives when he has a confident dog friend to play and socialize with âÂ€Â” having a furry buddy helps him feel secure and happy as he continues adjusting to his new life. While Wally thrives on play and fun, he also values his space. HeâÂ€ÂTMd do best in a home with kids who understand how to respect a dogâÂ€ÂTMs boundaries and space. To adopt a pet from Dallas Pets Alive!, you must: — Be at least 18 years of age. — Be willing and able to spend the time and resources necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for your new pet. — Have an unexpired, government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license or state ID) that lists your current address. If your ID does not list your current address, we will accept an unexpired photo ID along with a current utility bill. — Live within four hours of Dallas. — Provide written verification of home ownership or landlord’s approval to have a pet of the breed and size at your residence.
