Wally's Story

Wally is a 20-pound beagle mix. We believe that he is a cheagle (chihuahua beagle), but the beagle side is more evident, including in his height. The doctor estimated that Wally is just over a year old. We found Wally at a shelter, which got him as a stray.

Wally is a handsome young guy. He can get a little excited at times (when he sees his person or there is food), but he is generally past the puppy stage. He is good with other dogs. He likes to play with other dogs but is good about only running and playing with them if they are interested. Wally likes dog playdates! He also walks pretty well on the leash and can ride well in the car.

As a young guy with an unknown history, Wally could use some more training, but he will learn more. He has been enjoying being at his foster home, with his dad and foster beagles. He wants to be a people dog and stay close, including being on a lap. After not being sure about laying down on the bed, Wally now sleeps there and snuggles. He likes to be close and involved. Wally also has an interest in playing with balls. Plus, he loves treats! Please contact Eva if you would like to adopt Wally.

Contact Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com.
