Wally's Story

Wally was adopted, but unfortunately it wasn't a match so he's back with us. Wally went to a small dog playgroup recently and he was so good! He met a dozen new dogs and several new people. He had so much fun. He gets along well with other dogs and he LOVES people! He especially loves cookies!

Before coming to Dogwood Wally was sitting in a crowded shelter where he waited, overlooked and unwanted, day after day. Finally his time was up. Nobody came. The shelter was full, with more dogs coming in every day. Wally was scheduled to be euthanized. Better than dying on the streets, or being warehoused forever in a kennel, but still such a sad waste of life.

Wally is maybe 5 years old, 15 pounds, and very sweet. He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He could have some Spaniel and a dozen other things, and his spectacular underbite could be from a Pug, Shih Tzu, Pekingese or Frenchie type in his lineage. He sleeps quietly crated all night, loves to go for walks and has been great with a variety of dogs in his foster home. Wally is ready to find his perfect match.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference one animal at a time.
