WALLACE's Story

Meet Wallace (A457276) and get ready to fall for a big, happy-hearted guy who makes friends wherever he goes. Wallace is the kind of dog who thinks everyone he meets is a potential best friend. New faces, new voices, new adventures. He is all in. His favorite thing in the world is getting outside, where he can sniff every blade of grass, follow every interesting scent, and put that nose to work. If you are the type who enjoys fresh air and slow, happy strolls, Wallace will happily be your shadow. This sweet boy appears to be house trained and will let you know when it is time to go out by barking at the door like a polite gentleman. He has been tested with female dogs and does well, staying calm and unbothered even if another dog offers a correction. Wallace would absolutely enjoy having a canine companion to share yard time and play with. Wallace is around 10 years old, but do not let that number fool you. He is still full of life, curiosity, and joy, with plenty of energy to keep things fun without being overwhelming. He is proof that older dogs still have so much love to give and so many good days ahead. If you are looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who will make your days brighter just by being himself, Wallace is ready to meet you. He is waiting for a home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by love, sunshine, and maybe a dog friend or two. Wallace is guesstimated to be 10 years old and weighs 50 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Wallace? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D45. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
