Wallace's Story

Meet Wallace and Gromit!
These boys are sweet seniors who love to take life slow and gentle. Their hobbies include naps, cuddles, and tottering around after their people in the hope of earning a few extra pats and affectionate words. They were recently found as strays in Providence, both filthy and covered in years' worth of matted, tangled fur. A grooming session with our med team revealed the sweet, affectionate little dogs that have been hidden from the world for far too long. Wallace and Gromit are not bonded and are able to go home together or separately. They have no known experience with children or cats, but due to their easy-going personalities they would do well in most homes. They do require regular grooming and care to prevent future matting. They are not house trained yet but they are working on learning on the basics with their foster.

Wallace and Gromit do both have dental disease that would benefit from care at their adopter's vet. Gromit's dental condition is more severe and he will be going home with a $300 voucher to help cover the cost of his care. In addition to this, Gromit does have a heart murmur that will need monitoring and possible further diagnostic testing to ensure his continued health and comfort.

Wallace and Gromit are currently in foster care receiving some well earned TLC, if you are interested in meeting them please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email our foster coordinator at foster@parl.org
