Walker's Story

From his little bat ears to the tip of his tail, Walker is 5 lbs. of total perfection. This senior boy could be anywhere from 8 to 10 years old and we don’t know a lot about his history. He has such lovely manners (has never had a single accident in his foster home, walks beautifully on a leash, and sleeps peacefully in your bed all night until you are ready to get up), he must have had a loving home at some point. Unfortunately, he was found wandering and nearly starved by one of our local shelters and came to Animal Advocacy for a serious dose of TLC.

Walker gets along really well with other dogs and ignores cats. He’s super mellow and is very content to be wherever his person is, whether it’s watching TV, helping to fold laundry, or just being a sympathetic and totally understanding listener. Walker’s fluffy white/cream coat does require grooming and he’s a pretty good sport about it.

Walker would be the perfect companion for a retired person or couple looking for somebody to share their space, take leisurely strolls and be your first-class cuddle buddy.

Walker has been neutered, is current on all vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Walker, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
