Walker's Story

Walker is an appx 3-year-old bully mix with a heart as big as his head. Once he warms up to you, he's a snuggly cuddle bug that loves to play! He recently came back to us after a year because the household he was in was a bit too busy for him. Young children make him nervous, but he is comfortable with children ages 6 and older. Walker's previous family said that he loves to cuddle and thinks that he is a lap dog. He knows lots of behaviors including: sit, stay, paw with both paws, back up. He LOVES food and is motivated to do anything if snacks are involved. Walker's ideal home would be one that is low key and one without other dogs- this big boy wants you all to himself. If you think you might be a fit for Walker, call the shelter at 906 632 2519 to set up an appointment to meet him. Please call for the quickest response to inquiries as those submitted through FB, Petfinder, and email are not always closely monitored.
