Wagner's Story

Wagner is an adorable, one-year-old Beagle who found his way to us as a stray after his finder suspected he may have been dumped—plus, he wasn’t exactly winning over the chickens. Despite his rocky start, Wagner has a gentle soul. He can be a bit nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and shows his sweet personality.
Like any true Beagle, Wagner has the classic hound nose that leads him on new adventures, which means he can be a bit of a flight risk. A secure home, patient family, and safe environment are essential to help keep him out of trouble and build his confidence.
Wagner needs someone who understands that he’s still learning about the world and is willing to help him work through his insecurities. With time, reassurance, and the right guidance, he’s sure to blossom into an amazing companion.
We would love to see Wagner find the loving, understanding home he deserves—and we hope that happens very soon!
