He is now in his 3rd week in a temporary foster home in MO and loving it! Although he seems quite content to enjoy the comforts of a home, Waffles cannot be a trusted with cats or even fluffy little dogs who look to him like rabbits. He is great with the other beagles, a shihtzu, chiweenie, havanese mix and pitty in his foster home, but the Maltese who is tiny, white and looks bunny-ish is a no go. She runs and he chases. Otherwise, Waffles is friendly and good natured. He is still young and energetic so will need a family who can provide him with physical excercise and mental stimulation appropriate for his age and breed. He will arrive in Florida mid April and is heartworm negative and will be fully vetted.
