Meet Waffles!<br/><br/>At just 5 months old and 35lbs, Waffles is a sweet Shepherd mix who has proven he’s as resilient as he is lovable. <br/><br/>Rescued from the shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized, Waffles faced an uphill battle early on. He had a bad case of kennel cough that quickly turned to pneumonia and nearly took his life. But this sweet boy is a fighter, and after time in the hospital, he’s now healing beautifully and soaking up every bit of love life has to offer. Waffles is now blossoming into a playful, happy boy and we are all so happy for him!<br/><br/>Waffles has a gentle presence. He’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, always happiest when he’s close to his people. With a naturally calm energy, he’s content lounging by your side or quietly playing with his favorite stuffed animals. <br/><br/>He is both potty trained and crate trained, walks beautifully on leash, and has lovely manners for such a young pup. He is gentle and patient with children, and wonderfully respectful around cats. He’s also friendly and social, making him a great fit for a home with other dogs. <br/><br/>Waffles would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to grow in confidence and be included as part of the family. <br/><br/>Whether it’s a home with kids, other pets, or simply someone looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Waffles is ready to give his whole heart.
