Waco's Story

Waco is a handsome four year-old, male-neutered, medium sized, mixed breed (which means he's mixed with loyalty and love). He can be described in one word: charming! He's calm, affectionate, & playful. He's comfortable on a lead, and inquisitive (smelling & "checking things out") when strolling around the YAPS compound. But watch out for Waco. He is smart! He already knows and obeys the commands of sit, paw, lie down, sit up, and stay (unless, of course, the car door is open). He LOVES car rides! He'll be a wonderful addition to any family. Yucaipa Animal Placement Society's Adoption Policy

The adoption fee includes spay or neuter surgery, vaccines and a microchip for dogs and cats. We do a thorough assessment of the animal’s temperament and needs so that we can find both them and you the companion of a lifetime. Our goal is to adopt out pets into permanent, loving homes. The YAPS Team is here to help you choose a pet that will fit in with your lifestyle and bring harmony to your home. YAPS does not currently offer transport for adopters outside of our surrounding area. Adopters must adopt a pet in person at our facility or adoption events.

Yucaipa Valley Animal Placement Society is a no kill, nonprofit animal rescue that strives to prevent the euthanasia of dogs and cats in shelters throughout the region by providing them a temporary safe haven until a permanent loving home can be found.
