Vomma's Story

Meet Vomma! This sweet lab/weimaraner mix has not had the easiest start in life, but she has so much love to give. After arriving at the shelter, Vomma needed her tail amputated, but what she lacks in tail wags, she more than makes up for with her loyal and affectionate personality.

Vomma has been showing just how wonderful she can be in a home environment. She settles in quickly, enjoys attention, and loves being near her people. Like many young dogs, she is still learning, but she is extremely smart, picks up new skills quickly, and thrives with guidance.

Vomma would love to be your hiking buddy or adventure partner, but she is just as happy curling up on the couch with you afterward. She does well in a kennel and can keep herself entertained with toys when needed. She loves rolling in the grass, playing fetch, and doing the cutest hops and tipety taps with her paws when she is excited. Vomma also enjoys runs and would be an amazing running companion for her forever person or family. She has done great at breweries her foster has taken her to, meeting people, kids, and other dogs!she loves to wrestle and play with other dogs!

If you are looking for a faithful companion with a big heart and a little extra character, Vomma is ready to be by your side. She is currently in foster care. If you are interested in adopting her, please submit an application on our website.
